Jonathan Cary is a DP (Director of Photography) & Video Editor based in Longmont, Colorado. He has worked with clients across the United States on projects ranging from brand films to educational videos and social media content. These projects have reached millions of viewers.
Skilled in all aspects of the production process, Jonathan is comfortable shooting, lighting, and managing sound as a single operator or working with larger crews. Additionally, he has produced over 200 podcast episodes and is a Part 107 FAA-certified commercial drone pilot.
In his spare time, you can find Jonathan riding his bike in the mountains or catching the perfect light on Colorado’s best-hidden hikes.

A Little More About Me
I’ve always been fascinated by videos and photos, ever since I was a child growing up in Louisiana. Staring at the screen, mesmerized by what I was seeing, it wasn’t until I was older that I realized shooting videos and capturing photos would be my profession.
While in high school I saved up enough money to buy my first camera, the GoPro Hero 2. Not a camera known for its cinematic qualities, but a perfect start to the beginning of my creative journey.
From designing and coding websites to running a full-service marketing agency, I’ve done it all. But I’ve always come back to the simplicity of having a camera in my hand and diving deep into a video edit. It’s what I’m most passionate about and what I look forward to sharing with you.
